Dear DP,
Our first week back from break was eventful to say the least. Editorially, we broke national news — with eight breaking news stories. Our business teams continued their great work (shoutout to the finance team specifically, putting out a five year P&L statement!).

Staffers of the week
Data Beat Srishti Bansal and Sports Reporter Alex Dash are the staffers of the week. Srishti put together a really comprehensive analysis of Penn’s federal funding receipts for 2024, filled with charts and data. Alex helped break Penn’s federal funding cut, which made national headlines this past week. Just some amazing work from the editorial departments in breaking and following up with such insightful coverage.
