Letter No. 7

March 2, 2025

Dear DP,

Lot of cool stories and developments around the office for this week. Our sports team went to Cornell and Dartmouth to cover games, the multimedia crew wrote another historical photo essay, news continued stellar work following their breaking story regarding admissions being rescinded, and our business departments continued to grind it through at their working sessions.

STAFFERS OF THE WEEK

Deputy Assignments Editor Isha Chitirala and Deputy Assignments Editor Finn Ryan are the staffers of the week! Isha and Finn authored a piece about Penn rescinding graduate admissions, which garnered close to 170,000 views. This story was cited by the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Atlantic, and Nature. I’ve personally received emails from readers commending them for this story. They have also been so good in their follow up stories… do give them a read!
