Letter No. 4
February 9, 2025 (Super Bowl Sunday)
Dear DP,
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! This week was an exciting one for the team, with coverage and the onboarding of new staffers. Here are some highlights…
This week, the DP held company-wide training sessions for new staffers, with them officially beginning to work with their respective departments this week.
We do have one makeup session for those that were not able to make the previous three training sessions. It will be help on Tuesday, February 11th at 7PM (in the DP Office). Please mark your calendars! Super excited to work with and meet everyone.
STAFFERS OF THE WEEK
STAFFERS OF THE WEEK
Sports Editor Valeri Guevarra, Sports Editor Sean McKeown, Deputy Sports Editor Tyler Ringhofer, and Sports Photo Editor Lydia Tong are the staffers of the week! This week, DPOSTM (aka DP Sports) killed it with their coverage and breaking news grind. Valeri, Sean, Tyler, and Lydia travelled down to New Orleans to cover the Super Bowl press events. They were able to interview athletes, coaches, and represent the DP on the national stage. Former Sports Editors Vivian Yao and Walker Carnathan came back to help with DP production night, with a stunning A1 and B1 presence from DP Sports. Kudos to this entire department for a monstrous week.
Oh, and some photos from their NOLA adventures are below!
Issue No. 4
Issue No. 4
Check out our print issue this week! It features two great stories by DP Sports on the A1 and B1 and incredible work from our design, multimedia, and copy teams (and of course, Emily Scolnick putting everything together).

The Daily Pennsylvanian is an independent non-profit, relying on the generous contributions of our readers and alumni. Please consider making a donation for us to continue our work for years to come.
As a part of our annual campaign giving efforts, we created department specific donation pages for contributions to the important work we are doing. Special thanks to Steven Molberger, Ted Kwee-Bintoro, Norah Rami, Valeri Guevarra, and Sean McKeown for helping curate each of these pages.
